Linda came to Boston Senior Home Care with a strong background in
health care administration, quality assurance and management. A registered
nurse, she has worked in both acute and chronic health care settings in
Prior to assuming the position of Executive Director in October 2004,
Linda was the Associate Director of Boston Senior Home Care. She held that
position for over twelve years. Linda was the Associate Director of Nursing at
Linda holds an undergraduate degree in Psychology from Loretto Heights College and a Masters Degree in Health Care Administration from Framingham University. She is the current President of Mass Home Care, the professional organization that represents the aging services access points.
Anna Cole joined Boston Senior Home Care
in October of 2001 as Director of Finance and Administration bringing with her
more than 15 years of experience in various areas of Accounting with special
emphasis in financial reporting and management. During her tenure at Boston
Senior Home Care, Anna has been responsible for various areas within the
administration, which included Human Resources and Government and Provider
Contracts. Anna's current responsibilities include oversight of the agency's
Fiscal Department, Management Information Systems, and Office Resources.
Anna's extensive background includes
prior home care experience as she spent three years as the Fiscal Director for
Ethos (Southwest Boston Senior Services). She also spent eleven years building a
career at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts holding various positions
starting with that of Staff Auditor, Financial Analyst, Supervisor of Budgets
and Cost Accounting, and Financial Administrator.
Anna also has entrepreneurial experience as a
Self-Employed Financial Consultant and Tax Specialist. She lived overseas for
three years as an expatriate and occasionally taught at

As the Director of Development and Quality Assurance, Joanne’s responsibilities include directing and managing the agency’s quality assurance activities, provider contracts, fundraising and development, and special initiatives particularly in the area of supportive housing development. She also works closely with the agency's Board of Directors in the area of donor development, and coordinates Boston Senior Home Care’s (BSHC) annual Anniversary Celebration and Fundraiser
Joanne brings over 25 years of public service experience to BSHC and previously served as the agency's Associate Director. In this capacity, she was responsible for all of the agency's direct care programs.
Prior to joining Boston Senior Home Care in December of 05, Joanne served as an Interim Commissioner of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts State Office of Child Care Services (OCCS). As Interim Commissioner, she was responsible for ensuring the health and safety of more than 300,000 children in early education and care programs across the Commonwealth, as well as the administration of the State's $366 million child care subsidy system. Joanne also served as the OCCS's Chief Operating Officer, and Director of Procurement and Contracting. Prior to her tenure at OCCS, Joanne worked at the Department of Public Health in contract administration and compliance, and at the Department of Social Services, where she worked in various areas including contract management and foster parent training and recruitment.
Joanne graduated from Worcester State College with a Bachelor's Degree
in Sociology and from
Esther C.G. Larios is the Human Resources Director for
Boston Senior Home Care. She started with the Agency in
2007.
Esther came to BSHC with experience from
the public and non-profit sectors having worked at Intel, Millipore, GTE and
other companies in a variety of functions. She has
experience in company start-ups, downsizing, and merger and acquisitions.
She has hands-on experience in executive recruiting, staff
training and development, employee relations, diversity, compensation and
benefits, performance management, process improvement, senior level
strategic planning and facilitating cross-functional teams.
Esther has a BA in Education and a minor in Chemistry from the
