Supportive Housing
The Supportive Housing Program is a joint venture between Boston Senior Home Care (BSHC), the Boston Housing Authority (BHA), and the VNA of Boston. The program provides support to approximately 100 residents, from many diverse backgrounds, who reside at BHA’s Codman Apartments located at 784 Washington Street in Dorchester.

Special program features include: a BSHC on-site Services Coordinator; who is available to provide information, referral and assistance to all residents, as well as ongoing case management and support services to those residents who are BSHC clients; monthly wellness seminars, provided by the VNA of Boston, including blood pressure and cholesterol screenings, nutrition workshops, stress management and women’s health issues; on-going exercise and yoga classes; as well as an on site congregate meal program provided by Kit Clark Senior Services. The program is open to all residents of the Codman Square apartment complex.
